We met Karynne and Patrick briefly at the Hockley Valley Open House a couple years ago. In 2015 I was pregnant with our son and was going to Nottawassaga Midwives in Collingwood. I was introduced to a student midwife who was Karynne. I knew I recognized her but couldn't place her until later when we both realized we had met. Later on Karynne and Patrick hired us as their wedding photographers and we are so glad they did!
These two were married on my birthday August 26th 2016 and I couldn't have been happier to spend it capturing their wedding day! The wedding took place at Hockley Valley Resort in Orangeville on a perfect summer day! Chris went with Patrick and captured them getting ready and I went with the ladies in the Bridal Suite. The ceremony took place in the Garden and this was a first for us! It was a beautiful place for a ceremony. One of the most touching moments during the ceremony is when Patrick gave bracelet to Karynne's daughter Abby.
For formals we stayed on site and took Karynne and Patrick around the area. It was so fun capturing their special moments together! The Reception was in the Aida Room and it was beautifully decorated! It was full of fun and the food was AMAZING!
